Reno Hugo Luensmann, 81, passed away on May 4, 2018 at home in St. Hedwig, Texas. Reno was born on January 16, 1937 in Marion, Texas to Hugo Luensmann, Sr. and Ella (Bielke) Luensmann. Reno is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Sophia Strey and Ella Luensmann; brothers, Walter Luensmann, Hugo Luensmann, Jr., and Elton Luensmann. He is survived by his children, Vicki Lynn Lassere (Leroy), Elizabeth Bryant (Dan), and Kevin Luensmann; grandchildren, Michael B. Hannah, Megan N. Hannah, Jessica Jonas (Duane), Kyle Bohannon (Amber), and William Luensmann; great-grandchildren, Adrian Canizales, Haylee Bohannon, Abby Bohannon, and Saydee Bohannon; sister, Annie Coldewey; brothers, Arthur Luensmann (Juanita) and Alvin “Buddy” Luensmann (Sandy); sisters-in-law, Dorothy Mae Luensmann, Jan Luensmann, and Dorothy Jean Luensmann; as well as many nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, 4:00pm-8:00pm, at Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia, Texas.
