Obituary for Milton "Okie" Joseph Young

Milton “Okie” Joseph Young, 63, of La Vernia, Texas passed away on January 30, 2018. Milton was born on February 18, 1954 in Seguin, Texas to Daniel Young and Eugenia (Skrzycki) Young. Milton married Cheryl Malloy in La Vernia on May 20, 1978. He is preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, Charles Malloy; brother-in-law, Randall Goeth; and great-nephew, Karter Krenek. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 39 years, Cheryl Young; daughter, Michelle Aurora and husband Tim; grandchildren, Kyndall, Kynlee, Kynadee and Taiya Aurora; siblings, SM Dorothy Young, Loretta Stahl and husband Carl, Robert Young and wife Sarah, Mildred Young-Goeth, Dannette Wileman and husband Charles; mother-in-law, Jean Malloy; in-laws, Elaine and Ken Tiller, Janel and Carl Pullin, and Bill and Linda Caldwell; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and other loving family and friends. A visitation will be held on Monday, February 5, 2018, 6:00pm-8:00pm at Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia, Texas; Rosary Vigil to be prayed at 7:00pm.
