Amelia Pompa, age 90, of Nixon, entered eternal rest on February 18, 2019, in Yorktown, Texas. She was born in Karnes City, Texas, on November 3, 1928, to Felipe and Crisanta (Guzman) Rodriguez. Amelia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 64 years, Candelario “Larry” Pompa, on February 7, 2019; and a sister, Sarah Diaz. She is survived by her son, Armando Pompa and wife Mary Lou; daughters: Erma Ocanas and husband Greg, and Alice Trigo and husband Alex; grandchildren: Savannah Provow, Bobby Pompa, Joshua Ocanas and wife Heather, Kimberly Trigo, and Brittany Trigo; great-grandchildren: Rylee Provow, Jadon and Alexander Ocanas, Luke Flores, Liam Alvarez, Leah Trigo and Leo Rodriguez; nephew, Reinaldo Diaz and wife Irene; great-nieces: Brenda and Christina, as well as other loving family and many friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 21, 2019, from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon with a Rosary recited at 6:30 PM.
