Obituary for Lewis Carl Bush
Lewis Carl Bush, age 83, was called to our Heavenly Father on August 2, 2018. He was born on May 31, 1935 in Gonzales County to Theodore and Janie Bush.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two of his brothers, Charles Bush and Frank Bush.
He is survived by his wife, Nell Bush, and his two daughters, Machelle Bush and Catherine (Jack) Partridge. He has five grandchildren: Austin, Marisa, Jake, and Kelsey Partridge, and Sarah Bush. He is also survived by his sister, Barbara (Mike) Lucas, and his brother, TJ (Patsy) Bird, and many nieces and nephews.
Lewis served in the U.S. Navy, became a barber, and worked for Alcoa for many years before he retired. He was devoted to his family and loved to dote on his grandchildren. On his last birthday, Lewis and Nell celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. He was an avid bass fisherman, and he will be remembered for his sense of humor. He will be greatly missed.
