Lois Marie (George) Downs, 70 of San Antonio, Texas passed away on October 21, 2018. Lois was born on September 25, 1948 in Fredericksburg, Texas, the daughter of Erich Bruno George and Betty Lois (Davis) George. Lois was a graduate of Boerne High School and worked for 35 years as a Scheduler for Tesoro Corporation. She was also a longtime member of Desk and Derrick Corporation and served as their president for one year in 1994. She is preceded in death by her parents, Erich and Betty George, and son, John Patrick Downs. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 51 years, Quentin Darrell “Bo” Downs; son, Darren Troy Downs (April); grandchildren, Garrett Tyler Downs and Zachary Andrew Downs; brother, Erich Elton George; step-mother, Phyllis Delores George; feline friend, “Garfield”; as well as numerous other family and loving friends.
