Obituary for Louis Pryce "Buddy" Marlowe

Louis Pryce “Buddy” Marlowe went home to the Lord on October 10, 2018. He was born in Winfield, Alabama, April 18, 1931 to Luther and Mary Marlowe. He was the youngest of five children. He served in the US Air Force and, upon discharge, landed in San Antonio. There he met the love of his life, Helen Maria Kolodziej. They were married for 62 years. Together, they raised three children, and founded and operated a successful roofing business. He was a long-time parishioner of Holy Name Catholic Church, a great storyteller, and a friend to everyone. He never saw strangers, just potential friends. More than anything, he loved his family, and spent his life caring for them, always a wonderful and attentive Daddy and Grandpa. He simply adored his beautiful wife. He is survived by his wife, Helen Marlowe, children, Marla and Dave Rhen, Mark and Geraldine Marlowe, and Mellissa Marlowe and (husband) David Rodriguez, grandchildren Mark and Jennifer Marlowe, Hunter Wilson, Kyle and Chelsea Marlowe, and Paulina Rodriguez, great grandchildren Devin Wilson, Makensie and Kennedy Marlowe, and Lila and Madeleine Marlowe, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 14, 2018, 4:00pm-6:00pm, with the Rosary at 6:00pm, at Holy Name Catholic Church, 3814 Nash Blvd., San Antonio, Texas.
