Hey ...I know you're gone but my head won't accept that. My heart knows and aches, knowing I can't see or hear you anymore. I cry and all around me are memories of you. Last night I saw you walk by me, the night before I felt you touch my back and the night before I heard you do your 'Donald duck' voice. I can't get it wrapped around my head that I didn't get my chance to say goodbye. I didn't even know you were in the hospital..only once you were gone. Please know that my thoughts are about you..all the time. I have to make myself believe that you did know that I did my all to try and help you through your last bouts of illness. When you couldn't breathe right and I set you up with your nebulizer and showed you how you should use it. And how I made up your bed with big cushions behind your back to prop you up in a sitting position so you could get some rest in bed and not sitting in a chair at the kitchen table. By clipping your toenails that had overgrown so long that they cut into your other toes when you'd walk and hurt your feet. The Vick rubs that I made you let me rub into your back and chest to help your breaths. And every day and night when Glenn was in the hospital; Dan and I would be with you and make sure you had something to eat and drink and discuss the progress of his care; while we remodled his bedroom. I didn't have chance to bestow my last goodbye and my undying love I have for you. I'm left with that; to make myself believe that you knew how I truly feel, since I missed my chance to be at your side when it was your time to go. My heart hurts and my head swims with thoughts of you. I am calmed only by knowing that you are in good hands and without any pain. I know you are happy to be with pops mobile and with momma. You are surrounded by love; being in heaven with God; without judgement or worries or pain. So rest in peace, Dag. I miss you terribly but will see you soon! Know that you are gone but not ever forgotten..Your sis...Sandy

My brother David, he loved sports basketball, baseball, football, ice hockey, wrestling we've seen alot of events together he was the best brother I could ask for, he loved his sisters and me, he loved everyone. I remember me, David our father went deer hunting down in Pleasanton at Bobby and Dickey's place, it was cold we spotted a deer we told dad and he thought we said ducks by the time he realized what we said the deer took off, I thought that was funny. Well anyhow we all love and miss you very much. We'll see you again my brother. Love always

I miss you so much David. I am so thankful for us getting together for family dinners at Vernie's and being able to spend that time together. Raelyn loved playing and pretending she was putting you in jail lol! She loved trying to get you to dance and for you to watch her be silly. You are a beautiful, kind, soul that I will always have you in my heart! I will never forget when we were younger, you would take care of me and you would always listen to your baseball games in dads truck. I had to be with you and I would fall asleep to the static on the radio. I know how much you loved mom and dad. I know you are together with them in heaven. I will see you soon.
