Obituary for Frank E. Hosek

A loving father and husband, Frank E. Hosek entered eternal rest at his home in Floresville, Texas on July 5, 2019. He was born February 5, 1949 in Floresville, TX to Edwin and Cecilia (Wagner) Hosek.

Lt. Col Frank Hosek, USAR (Ret), honorably served his country for 22 years. After retiring from the Army, Frank became a 5th grade school teacher in Poth, TX spending 20 years devoting his time to his students and later, becoming jr. high principal and then high school principal, where he guided children from grade school to graduation.

Frank E. Hosek is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Christine “Chris” Hosek; son, Dwayne Hosek; stepdaughter; Kimberly Walsh; granddaughter, Brooke Walsh; siblings, Cecelia Jarzombek, Mary Louise Friesenhahn, Jimmie Hosek (Vickie), Patrick Hosek (Carolyn); numerous nieces, nephews and loving family.

Visitation will begin Monday, July 8, 2019 at 5:00pm at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Poth, TX and the Rosary Vigil will be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening.
