Johnny Kosub, 84 of La Vernia, Texas passed away at home on August 3, 2019. Johnny was born on October 12, 1934 in St. Hedwig to Joe Kosub and Adela (Mihalski) Kosub whom have preceded him in death along with his wife, Betty (Sumner) Kosub; daughters, Barbara Dirks and Darlene Kosub; great-granddaughter, Lillian Dirks; sisters, Virginia Jaksik, Helen Glietz, and Lilian Stanush; and brothers, Gilbert Kosub and Theophil Kosub. Johnny is survived by his daughters, Judy Swientek (Alex) and Kristy Skrzycki (Gary); grandsons, Nathan Dirks (Jennifer), Aaron Dirks (Tara), Brian Dirks (Chrystal), and Timothy Swientek (Corinne); granddaughters, Klarissa Coyle (James), Michaela Winkler, and Kourtney Winkler; 14 great-grandchildren; nephew, who was more like a son, Alton Kosub; sisters, Josephine Padalecki, Alice Aniol and Bernice Jasik; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family and dear friends. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2019, 5:00pm-8:00pm, with the Rosary at 7:00pm, at Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia, Texas.
