Ora Lee (Butler) Erskin, formerly of Nixon, went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 11, 2018 in Converse, Texas at the age of 91. She was born on April 15, 1927 in Nixon, Texas to Earl and Emma (Clark) Butler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sonny B. Erskin; her parents; sisters, Lillian, Vivian, Neva, and Emma Lee; and her son-in-law, Bishop Evans. Ora Lee is survived by her loving daughters, LaVerne Erskin-Evans and Sandra Kay Jenkins (Eddie); grandchildren, Gregory, Tasha, Darryl, and Terrance; great-grandchildren, Taesean, Terrance, Quency, TedRose, Jaydah, Tatina, Terrance, Brandon and Bryant; great-great-grandchildren, Summer and DeAnn; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Greater Rising Star Baptist Church in Nixon, Texas.
