Teresa Connell Leighton, formerly of Nixon, Texas, entered eternal rest on February 18, 2019, at her home in Sandia, Texas, at the age of 55. She was born January 22, 1964, in Sacramento, California. She was preceded in death by her parents: Jimmie Leslie Prettyman and Irma Lavinia Bivens Prettyman; her special grandmother, Polly Harding; and her husbands: James Connell and Jack Leighton. Teresa is survived by her children: Crystal Connell, Kim Connell Salazar, Josh Connell, Monique Williams, Lonnie Frields, Travis Leighton, Whitnie Leighton Ramirez, Charles Connell, Ethan Connell, Lexi Connell and Cole Connell; four brothers: James Prettyman and wife Eva, Joe Everitt, Mike Everitt, and John Everitt; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews as well as other loving family and friends.
