Michael “Mike” Wayne Werner passed away on Friday, July 27, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas. Mike was born on October 9, 1963 in San Antonio, Texas to James Nelson Werner and Peggy O’Neil (De Atley) Werner. He is preceded in death by his father; maternal grandmother, Hazel M. De Atley; paternal grandparents, S.C. and Edena Mae Werner; niece, Amy Michelle Werner; and brother-in-law, Keith Allen Braden. He will be dearly missed by his mother, Peggy Werner; brothers, Jimmy Werner (Susan), and Jeff Werner; sister, Deborah Braden; aunt, Sudie Chambers; uncle, Carrol Werner (June); and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. A visitation will be held Friday, August 3, 2018, 9:00am-10:00am at Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia.
